Take a ride along with Capt. Steve Friedman and his angler and father, Greg Friedman, for the 22nd annual Swamp Guides Ball tournament benefiting the Guide Trust Foundation (formally the Don Hawley Foundation). Target species are redfish, bonefish and snook. Fishing headquarters at the Lor-e-lei in Islamorada Florida Keys.

Ben wanted to catch a redfish. He did some research at Worldwide Sportsman, practiced his casting and demonstrated patience. On a gorgeous fall day recently, we set out for the backcountry of Florida Bay to find his prize. He got his redfish and I got my prize; a great big prideful smile.
