Team Friedman gave it their best this year in attempt to defend the back-to-back wins from 2011 and 2012. It was not meant to be as Capt. Rob Fordyce and his angler, CJ Nelson took top honors with 1750 points catching 11 sharks. Team Friedman defended well and placed second by also caching 11 sharks totaling 1400 points but missed out on the bonus points by catching at least three different species of sharks. Capt. Drew Moret and his angler, Milt Weinberg, received third place honors for the third year in a row. A great event that is now in it’s fourth year and gaining popularity each and every year. This event is a fundraiser for an organization called We Fish For Kids, Inc. which donates money to local schools’ athletics and teaches future generations about fishing.
